We are happy to announce our current speaking schedule.
Parrotlet Presentation - Our presentation on parrotlets consists of an hour-long Power Point presentation with many species, sub-species and color mutations of parrotlets. Nutrition, housing, training, behavior, disease prevention, breeding, hand-feeding and shipping parrotlets are just some of the topics covered. In addition, if time permits, observations and stories about these comical little parrots are included. The presentation is followed by a question and answer session as well as specific problem resolution with individuals. We also like to tailor our presentations to the particular audience such as pet or breeder oriented. We also can give Power Point presentations on general areas of aviculture including:
Generally, we only for our expenses to be paid especially if your organization is small. If your club or event would be interested in having us speak, please feel free to contact us. We have given presentations to many bird clubs including Coastal Avian Society, Monterey Bay Cage Bird Club, Golden Gate Avian Society, Reno Area Avian Enthusiasts, Arizona Seed Crackers, Central Coast Bird Club, Contra Costa Avian Society, Foothill Bird Fanciers, Santa Clara Valley Canary and Exotic Bird Club, Arizona Bird Breeders’ Association, Avicultural Society of Tucson, Greater Boston Avicultural Society, Gold Country Bird Society, New Mexico Bird Club, Mid-State Small Bird Club, Oklahoma Avicultural Society, Raleigh-Durham Cage Bird Society, Capitol City Bird Society, Jacksonville Bird Club, Butte County Bird Club, Las Vegas Aviculture Society, Redwood Empire Bird Club, Parrot Association of Los Angeles and Arizona Avicultural Society. We have also been featured speakers at the Great American Bird Show, American Federation of Aviculture, Midwest Avian Research Exposition and International Aviculturist Society conventions, various Bird Breeding Seminars sponsored by Avian Images and the Canadian Parrot Symposiums East and West. |
